How to Download YouTube Shorts in 2026 (iPhone, Android, PC)

YouTube Shorts hit a billion daily views, but the YouTube app itself has no Save button for them — only a Share menu. To actually save a Short as an MP4 you can replay offline, send to a friend, or re-edit, you need a third-party tool.
