How to Download a TikTok Photo Slideshow (Every Image, No Watermark)

TikTok's photo mode (introduced in 2022 and massively expanded since) lets creators post carousel-style image sets that auto-advance with music. These "photo slideshows" are now a huge share of TikTok content, especially for recipe posts, before/after reveals, memes, and aesthetic collections. The TikTok app itself doesn't let you save individual photos from a slideshow — you can only screenshot, which captures the UI overlay. This guide covers the proper download workflow that returns each photo as a clean JPG at original resolution, plus the slideshow-specific details most generic TikTok guides miss.

Why screenshotting a TikTok slideshow is bad

• UI gets captured. Username, caption, like button, and TikTok logo all appear in the screenshot.
• Resolution is your screen, not the photo. A 1242x2688 iPhone screenshot of a 2160x2700 photo loses detail.
• Aspect ratio changes. Screenshots crop to your screen size; original aspect ratio is lost.
• Watermark stays. If the slideshow was saved to TikTok from another platform, the "TikTok" text overlay sometimes appears on screenshots.

Step-by-step: download a TikTok photo slideshow

1. Open the slideshow in TikTok. Tap the Share arrow on the right side of the slideshow → Copy Link. The URL looks like vm.tiktok.com/... or tiktok.com/@username/photo/....

Resolution and quality
